With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I have dedicated my career to understanding and supporting mental health and the mind-body connection. I began my journey in emergency medicine in 2007, where I developed a deep appreciation for working through patients in crisis situations. Later, I went on to graduate studies in General Medicine at Olivet Nazarene University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude at the top of my class. It was in general medicine where I discovered my passion for mental healthcare.
My love of mental health treatment led me to complete post-graduate education in Psychiatry at Purdue University. I have spent my career honing a well-rounded clinical competency in mental health care, with a focus on providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment that supports both the emotional and physical aspects of well-being. Beyond clinical practice, I hold non-clinical degrees in Leadership (PhD) and Business (MBA), reflecting my dedication to holistic, patient-centered care and innovative healthcare delivery.
Throughout my career, I have prioritized staying at the forefront of advancements in psychiatry and medicine. My approach is rooted in collaboration. I firmly believe the best care happens when patients are active participants in their health journey. I encourage shared decision-making, ensuring my patients feel comfortable, informed, and engaged in every step of their treatment plan. Together, we can create a meaningful path toward emotional resilience, mental clarity, and overall well-being.
