At the heart of my therapeutic approach lies a fundamental belief in the innate potential of all individuals to lead lives that are meaningful and fulfilling. As a mental health counselor, I am fully committed to serving others by tapping into their inner strengths in order to foster positive growth. My philosophy of practice is grounded in a deep sense of humility, and I hold in high regard the unique experiences and perspectives of my clients while implementing evidence-based treatments, trauma-informed care, and culturally sensitive practices.

To achieve our therapeutic objectives, I take an integrative approach that draws upon a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Person-Centered Therapy. This approach enables the integration of diverse therapeutic modalities to cater to the idiosyncratic needs of each person, all while maintaining a heightened awareness and appreciation for the significance of cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care. Moreover, my professional experience includes working with justice-impacted folks, those who have experienced developmental trauma, older adults, and members of the LGBTQIA community.

In my practice, I strive to cultivate a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and secure space that enables clients to feel heard, validated, and empowered. The space grants opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings, gain insight into behavioral patterns, and develop new skills to navigate life’s challenges. My guiding principle is to serve rather than simply treat or help, and as such, my work is informed by a deep appreciation and understanding of the intricate interplay between the mind, body, and spirit. My overarching aim is to support my clients in their journey towards self-discovery and empowerment, empowering them to access their inner resources, discover their own answers, and live the life they truly desire. Together, we can work towards creating a life filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.
