I’m Alex, a therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity, trauma, and relationship challenges. Maybe you’ve been carrying something for a long time and can’t quite name it yet. Or maybe you know exactly what it is, but haven’t had the right space to work through it. Either way, you’re in the right place.
My approach is empathetic and direct. I believe therapy should feel real, not like you’re being talked at, but like you have someone genuinely in your corner who will also challenge you when it matters. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, and solution and goal-focused therapy, woven together with mindfulness techniques, behavioral strategies, and an attachment-based, trauma-informed foundation. I also bring a multicultural lens to every session, because who you are, your background, identity, and lived experience, aren’t separate from your healing. It’s central to it.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples across a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. Together, we’ll build insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change that actually sticks. You don’t have to have it figured out to start; you just have to show up.
Exploring your therapy options is the first step toward empowering yourself on your mental health journey
