What we look for

The baseline.

Prerequisites for clinicians joining the practice.

  • Master's Degree in a mental health field — MHC-LP, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming — committed to fostering an inclusive, anti-oppressive, supportive environment for clients and clinicians
  • 1+ year of experience working with adults in psychotherapy
  • Minimum caseload commitment of 24 clients per week
  • Interest or experience in couples work
  • 2-year minimum commitment to the practice

CSAT or equivalent

Certified Sex Addiction Therapist or substantial addiction-treatment experience.

EMDR / trauma modalities

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or other trauma-specific frameworks.

Couples + sex therapy

Relationship dynamics, intimacy, sex therapy, or AASECT certification.

Group + psychoeducation

Group therapy facilitation and psychoeducational program design.

Identity-affirming work

BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and health-justice-oriented practice.
