I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self, without judgment, pressure, or having to have everything figured out. As a therapist committed to culturally responsive and identity-affirming care, I believe it is important to understand each person within the context of their culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences. I believe in the importance of understanding the ways culture and community shape how we see ourselves and understand our mental health. I approach each client with curiosity and compassion, and my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and valued.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of clinical concerns. As a former collegiate student-athlete and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring personal understanding to the work I do with clients navigating these experiences. These parts of my identity have shaped the way I understand the importance of belonging, self-acceptance, identity, and the pressures that can come with feeling like you need to fit a certain mold. I am particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients as they explore gender and sexual identity, relationships, self-acceptance, and belonging.

I am equally passionate about working with athletes navigating disordered eating, overexercising, and body image concerns. I understand that these struggles often extend beyond food and exercise, intersecting with self-esteem, perfectionism, performance anxiety, changes in athletic identity, and the pressures athletes experience both within their sport and from society at large. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their relationship with food and their bodies while developing greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and healthier ways of coping.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. I draw from CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, feminist, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches, incorporating practical coping strategies alongside deeper exploration of thoughts, emotions, relationships, and past experiences. I believe that therapy will not look the same for everyone, and I want our work together to reflect your goals, values, and what feels most helpful to you.

I believe that healing is possible, even when change feels overwhelming or out of reach. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters to you. My hope is that through our work together, you feel empowered to move through challenges with greater confidence, self-compassion, and resilience, knowing that you do not have to navigate them alone.
