Career Compass is for adults navigating uncertainty about what comes next at work. You don't need a plan, a title, or a clear answer. That's the point of the group.
- You're unsure about your direction and tired of guessing.
- You're doing fine on paper but the work doesn't feel like yours.
- You're considering a change and don't know where to start.
- You're returning to work after time away and rebuilding from there.
- You have too many possibilities and can't narrow them down.

Common questions, honest answers
Is this career coaching or therapy?
It's a clinical group led by a licensed mental health counselor. We cover practical career work like resumes, networking, and action planning, but we also work on the self-doubt, fear, and stuck feelings that usually sit underneath a career transition. That combination is what makes it different from standard career coaching.
Does insurance cover this group?
We're in-network with most major carriers, including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and Evernorth, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Oxford, and EmblemHealth. Our care team verifies coverage before you begin.
Will I have to share before I'm ready?
No. You're always welcome to listen. The group is designed so participation grows at your own pace, and no one is pushed to open up before they're ready.
Is this a replacement for individual therapy?
Not always. Group works well alongside individual therapy, and it can also be a great first step. Our care team helps figure out what makes sense for you specifically.
Are sessions confidential?
Absolutely. All participants sign confidentiality agreements, and session content stays in the group. To further protect privacy, AI tools, recording, and screenshots are not permitted.
What if I'm currently employed?
Most participants are. Sessions are virtual and scheduled outside standard working hours so you can take part without disrupting your job or announcing anything to your employer.
