I am committed to fostering a supportive, empathetic, and collaborative environment where you feel genuinely listened to. My approach is flexible, drawing from a variety of counseling techniques such as Person-Centered, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. By tailoring these methods to your individual needs, we can work on achieving your specific counseling goals.
Therapy can provide invaluable insights for everyone, helping us understand our developmental stages and their impact on our perceptions, outlook, and growth. My aim is to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance with you, exploring these aspects to increase your self-awareness.
We will collaborate to transform thoughts into action, fostering new coping skills and adapting behavioral and thought patterns to create positive change. I prioritize your emotional well-being and we will work together to strengthen and preserve it in a confidential setting. Counseling with me is a step in your unique journey towards self-actualization, self-compassion, and self-exploration.
I am currently working towards my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Barry University. I am a graduate of the University at Albany and have had the privilege of working with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, where I gained experience in crisis intervention, psychoeducation, advocacy, and community outreach.
Everyone deserves quality mental health care at an affordable price.
