As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger management concerns, OCD, ADHD,
PTSD, self-esteem and body image challenges, eating disorders, relationship issues, and substance use concerns. I also offer affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals. Common symptoms addressed in treatment may include excessive worry, racing thoughts, low mood, emotional dysregulation, intrusive thoughts, difficulty concentrating, relationship conflict, and challenges with self-worth.
My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns to improve emotional well- being and daily functioning. Behavioral Therapy emphasizes changing learned behaviors through practical strategies such as skill-building, exposure, and reinforcement to support meaningful and lasting change. I also integrate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.
My therapeutic style is direct, supportive, and goal-oriented, while remaining collaborative and empathetic. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel empowered and actively involved in their growth. Together, we will set clear, realistic goals and track our progress. Treatment plans are individualized to align with your values, strengths, and lived experiences, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. I am committed to working collaboratively with you to develop practical tools, increase insight, and foster long- term emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or personal growth, our work together will focus on creating sustainable change and helping you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
