Welcome! I’m Hillari, and I believe therapy is a powerful space for self-discovery, healing, and growth. My approach is grounded in the belief that understanding ourselves—our histories, emotions, and patterns—can empower us to navigate life with more clarity and intention. I’m passionate about mental health advocacy and committed to creating a supportive, meaningful space where you feel safe, heard, and energized in your journey.
In our work together, I draw from Gestalt, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) frameworks, and often incorporate mindfulness-based practices to help you stay grounded, build awareness, and respond to challenges with greater presence and intention. My goal is to meet you where you are—with curiosity, compassion, and care—and to support you in uncovering insight and fostering lasting change.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU and hold a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience from The Ohio State University. I’m especially interested in the ways that brain chemistry and previous experiences shape our behaviors and emotions—an interest that launched my career into the mental health field.
